CC attended Pacific Lutheran University where they completed their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (2008) and their Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (2011). They completed the Sex Therapist and Sexuality Educator tracks of the University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Certificate Program in March of 2022. Additionally, CC completed Out in Front's LGBTQ2+ leadership program, which provided opportunities to learn about sustainable action, legislative advocacy, and social justice organizing. 

In 2020, CC and their wife moved back to CC’s hometown in South Dakota to provide support and education on gender and sexuality topics to help make South Dakota a more healthy, affirming, and loving place for LGBTQ2+ individuals and families. They love spending time with their family, cuddles from their cat and puppy, sushi, and new music Friday’s. 

Nina (she/her) is a Sexual Health Practitioner. She attended University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Certificate Program and completed the program as a sexuality educator and counselor. She earned her International Master of Public Health from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Sexuality with a concentration in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University. 

Her passion and work in sexual health started in 2011 and she has spent years working and volunteering in her local communities to create better education for health, bring awareness of local politics, and advocate for social justice. 

Nina is a lover of all things purple, musical theater, animals, and French fries.  She lives in Michigan with her husband and her two dog-children, who are the greatest standard poodles in the universe.
